The El Rey returns as one of the most versatile skis for teen and intermediate park riders today. With a Cap construction the El Rey is a light, responsive, and quick turning ski perfect for the first time park rider and thanks to it's slightly wider platform, mid 80mm waists, is a great choice for all mountain use and softer park conditions. To keep things simple Armada uses the Fleet Core and Positive Camber on the El Rey. This combination provides smooth and predictable pop for easy turning and good energy of ollieing or hitting jumps and great edge hold to keep everything under control for setting spins or shredding all mountain. Knowing park skis take huge amounts of abuse the El Rey gets the beefed up 2.5 Impact Edge, which under goes a hardening process to strengthen it and is double the size of standard edges for resistance to cracking and pull out from rails, boxes, or whatever else you end up jibbing. For additional durability the S7 base is super tough for gouge prevention but gets an additive so it holds wax and glides much better than other similar bases.

I rode the Armada El Ray last year and it was a great ski. It is Armadas beginner to intermediate ski. It has cap construction but I think experts can still ride it. I've seen Mike Hornbeck on these so if he can rock them I'm sure anyone can. With the cap construction over the wood core it makes it a lively, forgiving ski. Or a great ski for rails if you like them soft. Very light ski also to rip around and spin like theres no tomorrow. It doesnt have any rocker or anything special in it but thats why I liked it. I normal camber park ski at a great price.

Hey this is Bob. Just got off the Armada El Rey. I was actually very pleasantly surprised by this ski. This is their entry-level park ski. It comes in a very good price, but actually skied extremely well for a cap construction. It held the edge very well going down the front hill. It was going as fast as you want it to through the park. It had nice pop and is a very light ski. I give this a 4/5 stars.

Hey! Thom here with the Armada El-Rey. I give this four out of five stars. This is their price point ski, so it is a capped construction. But the thing actually carves and holds an edge real well. Easy to appreciate the turns. So a great transitional ski for that beginner who's looking to get a twin-tip. For that smaller or maybe younger rider who's looking to get into something a little more advanced. But it also works really well for a more aggressive skier as long as you are looking for something that's going to be really buttery, soft tail, and easy to press out. Not the most stable at speeds, but a really versatile fun ski.

Hey this is Kyle. I'm here with the Armada El Rey. This ski is kind of like their price point ski, but what's different from this ski to other skis is that it's got a wood core instead of a foamcore. So it's going to feel a lot more livelier and more playful. This is a great ski for that person looking for maybe their first pair of twin tips. You can rip all-mountain with it.

Hi I'm Kevin. I just got off the Armada El Rey. This is a really solid all-around all-mountain park twin. It's really playful, very stable, and has great edge grip. I'm not much of a park guy, but for an all-around all-mountain twin this things really hard to beat at [$]. It'll stack up against some $499 skis out there. So I definitely like this ski. It gets four out of five stars from me. A really really good all-around ski for that intermediate to a low and advanced level skier.

This is Evan with the Armada El Rey. I give this ski four out of five stars. I like it for what it is. It's a price point ski from Armada. I really liked it. Although it had a lot of pop to it, especially with the cap construction, which you find usually in softer skis. This ski was extremely responsive. So for that beginner or kid looking to go on the park and start shredding some rails and jumps - this would definitely be a good choice.

Hi I'm Charlie. I'm here with the new Armada El Rey. I'm gonna give this ski 4/5 stars. It's a real nice playful ski. It's great for the beginner-intermediate even up to intermediate to advanced park all mountain. It skis really well and has surprising edge hold. It's pretty stable at the bigger speeds, and it's a great ski for someone to advance their skill.
