The Recoil from K2 is a perfect ski for the young adult, or teen that likes to rip the groomers, spend some time in the trees and powder, and make heads turn in the park and pipe. ABSorb sidewalls are a horizontal sidewall construction that smashes a layer of urethane in between the ABS for shock ABSorbtion, lessening the impact of hard landings. Urethane is also used underfoot to maximize the dampening, but the ABS is used toward the tip and tail to increase edge control. 90mm underfoot and K2's All Terrain Rocker keep the ski floating in the powder, and quicker turning on the groomers. The Triaxial Braided Fir/Aspen wood core has plenty of torsional rigidity to handle the crud and chop, and still be nimble and easy turning for speeding down the hard pack. The Bi-Directional taper can be easily skied switch toward a humongous kicker and boosting as high as you can get. Tip and tail hardware increase durability and reduce the chances of splitting open the ski. The K2 Recoil can be taken any where with ease and make a perfect ski for the guy who will do it all groomers, park, powder, and side country.

This is Evan with the K2 Press. I give this ski 3/5 stars with It's capped construction. It is pretty soft, definitely going to be for that entry-level park rider looking to just get into some jumps and rails. Definitely a solid ski.

Hey I'm Kyle here. I'm with the K2 Press. These are pretty cool skis, a good ski for that kind of beginner park skier looking to get their first twin tip. A little soft and forgiving so it wouldn't be good for that expert kind of park rider but that person was just trying to get in to a little bit of rails, maybe a little bit of jumps, ride switch, this is the ski for them.

Hey Thom here with K2 Press. This guy gets 3/5 for a [$] ski it's really quite nice. Full wood core, cap construction, really easy onto edge. Very, very mellow ski. It would make excellent transitional ski for somebody coming off junior equipment or just for somebody whose really just starting getting into the game and wants something that's going to be real easy. You really don't have to think to get it to turn but something stable and predictable with the option in it being a full twin to be able to go throw it around the park.

Hi I'm Charlie. I'm here with K2's new Recoil. This is a really great ski. I'm going to give it 4/5 stars. It was surprisingly responsive, a little bit stiffer than it was before but skis really well. Really stable at high speeds, it's a great all-around ski.

Hi am Kevin. I just got off the brand-new K2 Recoil. Brand-new all mountain twin tip for them this year. This thing really hits it on the money, they took the revival shape totally revamped it, got rid of that Jib Rocker and gave it all terrain rocker and this thing is the money. Really, really good all mountain ski. When this thing gets 4.5/5 for all mountain twins for me, just very stable, very smooth transitions from edge to edge really quickly with some good pop if you're going to be spending a little bit of time in the park, a little bit of time all mountain, a little bit of time in powder this would be a really hard ski to beat for the money.

I got a chance to ride the K2 Recoil last year. The ski is a great ski for an all mountain and park ski. If you dont know what you are going to ride that day on the mountain. Grab the Recoils and you wont go wrong. You can ski anything the mountain throws at you with its tip rocker. It will help you butter around in the park to linking your turns on the groomers. K2 makes there skis very durible too. The triaxial braided core helps keep the ski strong sideways while letting it flex naturally length wise. Great ski for a park rider who wants to ride the whole mountain all in one day and one set of skis.
