Rossignol S 3 Skis 2012 |
With the term all mountain being thrown around loosely, it is difficult to grasp what its referring to. The Rossignol S3 is the new generation all-mountain twin tip at 98mm under the foot with truly versatile performance. The Powder Turn Rocker is fifty percent low camber underfoot while the other fifty percent in the tip and tail have high rocker. This unique blend of camber underfoot and rocker in the tip and tail give the S3 an uncanny ability to ski every part of the mountain equally well. At 98mm underfoot, the Rosi S3 is a great one ski quiver for someone that skis regularly at a sub four-hundred inch a year resort or a Midwesterner that likes big turns on the groomers but wants a ski with some waist width when it is time to take a trip to the Rocky's. Sandwich laminate construction, with vertical sidewalls enable the S3 to be a great stick for the Back East guys for both days when the snow is firm or when the next Nor'Easter rolls in. There is a reason why the S series from Rossignol is developing a cult following. Fork over all of your possessions to the ski gods, and get your S3 while it is still available.

Hi I'm Terry, I just got off of the Rossignol S3 all Mountain ski. Fully rockered tip and tail. Not a bad ski, a little short for me. It likes the softer snow better than the hard pack, it does pretty good in the bumps and the crud. Overall I give it about a 4 out of 5 stars.

Hey this is Trey with Rossignol S3. I give this ski 4.5/5 stars. I think it's a fantastic ski for intermediate through the casual advanced skier. That kid that wants that park ski but can still take it out West on bigger mountains and have something that's going to be turning and still be stable at the same time. It's got a rocker in it, it's just really a fun stable yet playful ski.

Comments about Rossignol S 3 Skis 2012:
Hi I'm Thom and I'm here with the Rossignol S3. It's their little bit more narrow waisted rocker ski. Full sidewall on it so it holds a really good edge, really poppy, really lively ski. Super dynamic with the turn radius, really variable edge to edge. I'm going to give this thing four out of a five stars. It's just a really, really solid ski. If you're an incredibly aggressive advanced skier you are going to find that it's a little bit soft, maybe you need something a little wider with a little bit more stiffness to it. But for anyone from that aspiring intermediate to that lighter weight advance skier that's looking for a 50-50 ski they will find it here.

Hey I'm Steve and I just got off of the Rossignol S3. I give this ski 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. I loved it, I tested it before and it's a great ski. It keeps getting better! What's amazing about this ski is It's pretty wide, it's in the 95 range in width but it turns like a slalom ski. It's got Rocker on the tip, it's got camber in the middle and it's amazing how quick short turns it can make on hard pack and it will be a great wide ski with a rocker for powder and softer conditions. It's really a ski that can go almost anywhere for anybody. If you're an advanced level skier and you want just a really easy fun ski to ski on that you can ski on anything from hard pack to powder this would be a good one.

I'm Kyle here, just got off the Rossignol S3. This is a great all mountain ski. It's definitely releases a lot energy in it. It's a good width for pretty much anything the mountain will throw at it. All and all I would give this ski a 4/5.

Hi I'm Kevin and I just got off the Rossignol S3. I really enjoyed this ski. It's a great, very good aspiring advanced skier all Mountain ski. Somebody who wants to get into the powder or wants something a little bit wider but not a super super wide 100+ ski. This ski is very agile on the groomers with very good edge grip. It's got a lot of pop, very easy to get into the turn but it's wide enough and with the ampteck with the camber underfoot ad the rocker in the tip and tail it's very, very mantel ski and it's going to perform very well in the soft choppy snow so this ski gets five out of five stars from me.

Rossignol S3; this ski what can we say, Rossignol does everything great. Great bindings, great ski. Five out of five stars all day long. Throw at it what ever you want to do. A little bit of rise in the tip and tail, you could go through anything. You could go through some crud, you can go through some bumps, you can do some trees, you can do some groomers or you can do some shoots. Whatever you want to do, east coast to west coast, 24/7 365. If you have snow you can ski this ski! There is nothing else better that we can say.

This is Hans with the Rossignol S3. Best thing about this ski is wherever you want to go it's going to take you. I mean this ski is phenomenal. It's got a lot of rocker, when you look at the ski. You can play in the park, we just came off a really hard pack run with really short quick turns. This ski will do that, it will hold really well with long turns too. I give this ski a four out of four.

Hi I'm Charlie with the Rossignol S3. I'm going to give this ski 4/5 stars. It was surprisingly poppy for what size it is. Turns really well, makes any short radius turn you want, bigger turn radius too. Doesn't really have as much pop as you would think so if you're an intermediate, little advanced skier it's a good ski for you.

I'm Adam and I'm skiing on the Rossignol S3. Extremely versatile all Mountain ski with a pretty unique shape to it. It's got Amptech which is Rossignol's blend of camber and reverse camber. Skis really, really well. Nice big rocker tip deflects any of the powder and initiates the turn nicely. 98 underfoot keeps you nice and stable through the broken snow and it's got a sidewall to hold an edge on the hardpack. 5 out of 5.
