The Rival BC from K2 is a new helmet this season made with the backcountry skier in mind. Going up your head can stay cool as a cucumber, on the way down you are as protected as the President. On the climb up you can remove the shell and leave the beanie on to keep yourself cool. When it is time for the descent synthetic Cat Tongue laminates integrate the beanie and the helmet, allowing the helmet t slide on easy, and keep the beanie in one place. Passive Channel Venting will keep you cool in the resort boundary, and the K2 Dialed Fit System will keep you comfortable in the right size. If you like going on a hike or a skin and want to keep cool the Rival BC is for you.
