It even has the proper certifications for all three different environments. It is constructed with the POC patented VDSAP system with double overlapping shells and state-of-the-art materials such as an in-molded aramid barrier. Although there are two shells constructed within this helmet, there is a penetration-proof ventilation system with airflow channels in between these two shells. When you begin your activity and start working up a sweat, this POC helmet will work to create a comfortable airflow for you. The multi-purpose lining is great for both liquid and frozen water. I have had this helmet for about 3 years now and i use my Poc Receptor Plus for everything. It is one of the safest helmets you can buy. Its taken some hard fall and still maintains its strength. Very protective. Works great with my Oakley goggles. I switch out the pads during the summer so that i can wear it rockclimbing, wakeboarding, biking, and white water rafting frequently and it works great for all those as well. I have NO complaints about this helmet at all except that it is too hard to find. I have gotten this helmet as a gift for a number of friends and family members and they all LOVE IT! This one helmet may be expensive but if your outdoors as much as i am it will replace the need of having to buy multiple other helmets (bike, rock climbing, water sports) because it does it all and it does it VERY well!
