Comments about Smith Variant Brim Helmet 2010:
I didn't think I needed a new helmet, but I wanted a Smith to work with my new Smith goggles. Now that I have it...oh yeah, I NEEDED this new helmet. It has features that totally customize the fit, and my Smith goggles are way more comfortable on this helmet than on my Giro. Too bad I waited 'til the end of the season.
Service and delivery comments:
My order with skis.com was a snap. The site was easy to use, and the order was processed immediately. I'll be back.

Comments about Smith Variant Brim Helmet 2010:
First time helmet wearer, so I was very anxious about fit, ventilation, and visiblity. This helmet performed spectacularly on all counts. After the first run, completely forgot I even had a helmet on.
Only little issue is when you raise your goggles off your face, they sometimes do not remain stationary over the brim, snapping back and dangling off the back of the helmet. But I do not think this is a significant concern as it does not impact in any way the performance of this helmet. Just a pain at times.

Comments about Smith Variant Brim Helmet 2010:
Just used the helmut today for the first time. I've never used a helmut before, so I can't compare it to any other product, but I don't see how any other helmut can beat this one. East to put on and easy to adjust. It's very comfortable and kept me warm without excessive heat buildup due to the adjustable vents. It also looks pretty sharp, and my goggles fit it well. I plan to purchase the optional headphones in the near future.
