Great Resort Ski
Comments:
Added this ski when i moved back to the East Coast. Great ski for fun jumping off groomers. Floats nice in fresh powder but nothing crazy. Handles great when getting aggressive. Not the most stable at real high speeds but didnt buy these for down hill pushing. Overall- great ski if you want an all mountain resort ski.

Q: Would this ski work for someone 6' 175lbs getting back into skiing after a 8 year hiatus? I was very confident back in the day, but will need some time getting back into the swing of things. I also ski on the East Coast.

A: Based on your height, weight and skill level the Nordica Burner I-Core's would be a solid choice for you, giving you a solid carving ski with the versatility to handle off piste skiing as well.

Q: Would these skis in 170cm work for an intermediate skier 6' tall 205lb? I do up to easy black diamonds but I am not too fast of a skier. Conditions here vary from powder to groomed.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: At your height, weight and skill the 170cm length in the Nordica Burner I-Core's will be too short for you. You should ideally look for a ski around 177cm to 182cm in length.

Q: How good are these skis in terms of carving and moguls?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Nordica Burner I-Cores, at a waist width of 84mm and with full wood core, this ski will be super responsive, making it great for carving, while still be forgiving, great for moguls.

Q: I am a true beginner, but I have been snowboarding for years and want to ski (snowboarding limits how much you can truly do such as trees). My dad has multiple pairs of skis including one pair of true beginners skis. I would get to at least a confident intermediate before using these. Could I use these skis?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: As a true beginner, the Nordica Burner I-Core skis will be far too stiff. If you can work your way up to the advanced intermediate skill level with the other skis beforehand, the Burner I-Core's would be a perfect next step from there though.

Q: What binding do you recommend with this ski?
Asked : Jan 27, 2013
By : Scott, laguna niguel, ca
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: With a waist width of 84mm, I would recommend any binding with a brake with of 90mm for optimal fit on the Nordica Burner I-Cores. The Marker Griffon's would be an excellent choice.
