The Nordica Cruise 95 is a perfect boot for the advanced level skier who has a wider forefoot and wider shaft of the leg. The 95 is a medium flex for the advanced skier who is looking for comfortable boot that isn't stiff as a brick . At 104mm in the forefoot, the Cruise 95 has a Natural Foot Stance (the feet are abducted with the toes pointing outward the way you would normally stand) to help you with energy transfer and balance. An Adjustable Cuff Profile makes this boot very accommodating for ladies with a lower, fuller calf. The PFP Performance Fit Women's Liner is soft a cushy with added padding for extra warmth. A great boot for the ladies that ski occasionally that is looking for comfort, or the Teenager who has a wider foot and is looking for a softer flexing boot, the Nordica Cruise 95 Ski Boots are a great choice.

  • Q:

I purchased these boots because of this language in the description: "An Adjustable Cuff Profile makes this boot very accommodating for ladies with a lower, fuller calf." And I also saw this answer in the Q&A: “The top of the boot will easily up to 14.5" inches in diameter before using the macro adjustment on the buckles which can give around 2-2.5" inches more circumference.” Is there a trick to this?? I tried them on and they were so tight in the calf that my feet started falling asleep after a few minutes. I wouldn't say that I have huge calves, but they are not narrow either. I really like the boots otherwise but I will need to return them if I can't figure out how to adjust the calf area. Help!

      A:

The cuff of the boot can be adjusted by rotating the two gray/silver "screws" at the top of the cuff. at the upper corners of the blue piece on the rear of the boot. By rotating these it opens up the top of the boot, which should alleviate your problem and the tool you need to do this with will either be a 4mm or 5mm allen wrench. If you still need to gain room in the calf area the upper ladder (place you set the buckle) on the cuff can be pressed at the rivet (silver dot) which pivots it away from the cuff, allowing you to slide the ladder to give you more room. If you have any further questions please call our customer care department.

  • Q:

If I'm 5'2 weigh 110 and wear a size 8 sometimes 8.5 shoe, what size boot should I get to fit comfortably? Also, I have a pretty narrow foot: I'd say 90-100 mm, will this shoe be too loose?

      A:

For a size 8.0/8.5 womens shoe, you would want to go with the size 25.5 Nordica Cruise 95 boots. As a wide fitting model, these boots will most likely be too lose for you unfortunately.

I apologize for the confusion with the listing, the Nordica Cruise 95 boots will be perfect for the advanced or high speed skier looking for a stiffer, more responsive boot.

  • Q:

What is the maximum calf circumfrence that will fit into this boot?

      A:

It is hard to say what the maximum circumference the boot will fit as the position of the cuff on the a skiers leg and where is hits the calf will be unique to each skier. However the information I can give you is that the Cruise 95 has a more generous fit in the upper as it is more of a sport boot than a full on performance boot. The top of the boot will easily up to 14.5" inches in diameter before using the macro adjustment on the buckles which can give around 2-2.5" inches more circumference. Please note that for most people the boot will only wrap the lower part of your calf and this boot is scalloped in the back to make it feel more roomy than the measurement would suggest.

  • Q:

Does this boot have flex adjustment? I've seen it with flex adjustment on other sites...

    Thanks!

      A:

No the Nordica Cruise 95 does not have flex adjustment. It does have ACP adjustment that allows the top of the boot to adjust 3-5cm for larger calves which you may have caused some confusion.
