The Nordica Dead Money returns this season as a go to boot for pipe and park skiers that care how they perform either in front of TV cameras, spectators, or your friends. Nordica's new three piece shell design is easy to enter and exit. The new Nordica Dynamic Performance Code is a new system for measuring the way a boot flexes Measured by stiffness, progression, and rebound.. The Dead Money has a progressive flex that gives you more rigidity the more you flex the boot, perfect for boosting out of the walls of a halfpipe or launching off a giant table top in the park. An upright cuff gives you more balance on off axis landings, and makes skiing switch easier. The Full Shock Eraser is a dampening system built into the boot in the tongue, toe, calf, and boot board to smooth out the impact from huge landings. A 45 Degree Instep Retention Buckle gives you more control, and more confidence because you know that your heel is staying locked in place. Best of all the Dead Money has a pant clip so your steezy pants don't get clipped into your bindings. The Dead Money is a boot for freestylers that performance matters.

  • Q:

How do these compare to a Salomon SPK??? I have a slightly wider foot than most....would these still work for me? Also are the a good flex for 100% park

      A:

The Nordica Dead Money boots will be very similar in design to the SPK's and will be designed for park use. However the Dead Money's run a bit on the more narrow/medium side, whereas the SPK boots are wider.
