The Nordica Hell and Back Skis are a lightweight and versatile pair of skis that you can ride all over the mountain in most hellish of conditions. Early Rise camRock pulls the tip back 25% creating a slight tip rocker. This means that you will have increased floatation, velocity and maneuverability in soft snow. This style of camRock will also make it easier to initiate turns in any condition. These skis are constructed with i-Core Technology which utilizes its wood core to lighten the weight by 20% helping to make these skis a little more playful. Whether you like the side country, back country or the front side of the mountain, the Nordica Hell and Back Skis offer you all-mountain access on an awesome pair of sticks. |

Comments about Nordica Hell and Back Skis 2013:
Hi, I'm Steve, I just got off the Nordica Hell and Back. I give this 5/5 stars, its absolutely one of my favorite skis I've skied. I think its appropriately named, it takes you to hell, and brings you right back. This ski is fast, it is very solid, but its also very light weight, which is usually surprising it doesn't use metal. You can really tell how quick, and nimble this ski is, in spite of the fact that its very torsional rigid. So it holds an edge, it handles high speed with no problem, theres very little chatter, and I felt extremely stable at the high speeds on this ski. I really liked it a lot, its 98 under waist. We got a hard pack day here today, it skied just great. You can take it out west, ski it on groomed, powdery conditions as well. Its kind of a good, go anywhere, one ski, quiver ski.

Comments about Nordica Hell and Back Skis 2013:
Hi this is Hans. I just came off the Nordica Hell and Back. This ski is a full side wall construction. Its got 98 underneath the foot. If you kind of gave this ski a little bit of a surfy feel. It skis incredible. Real smooth. Can't push it way too hard on the hard packed because it will wash out a little a bit because the rocker and the way the ski is designed but if you ski it mainly soft conditions and you want a ski that skis easy and holds well ski to to go I give it a 4 out 5. Designed for the advanced to expert skier.

This is Trey, with Nordica's Hell and Back. I'm gonna give this ski, again with Nordica, 5/5 stars. There killing it with this line. This is a really stable, high speed ripping ski, without metal. So you don't have to worry about getting in the trees, or getting in bumps, and messing up the ski. So it turns pretty quick, for being over 100 underfoot, but still has some energy in it. So you can link your turns nice, and easy, and just rip down the mountain, as fast as you can wanna go.

Hi, Tom here, with the Nordica Hell and Back, 5/5 even more if I was allowed to. This thing is a rocket, tons of power, tons of edge hold, but you don't have to force it to do anything. You can ski as aggressively, as you want, you can hammer it through the turns, Just unwavering. Tracks great, stiff enough that its gonna plow through crud, and crust, Since its metal free, its just got this unbelievable snappy finish to the turn. Explosive, fun, dynamic, for your advanced skier, through your expert skier, that's just looking for a one ski do all, this is it.

Whats going on, Jeff here, Nordica Hell and Back, 98 underfoot ski, this is a solid 4/5 star ski. Its a lot of fun to ski, flat mount ski, so your not gonna get a system, or anything like that with it. Its a lot of fun to ski, you can ski it anywhere, from a groomer, to an all mountain. Your chasing around in the woods on a day, its a very positive ski. With the full vertical sidewall, your gonna get a lot of edge grip torsional, an stability involved. This is gonna be your go anywhere, do anything ski, for anybody who goes to the Midwest, to out west, to out east.

Hey, I'm Brad, I just got off the Nordica Hell and Back's, these skis rip, 6/5 stars 5/5 stars. Whatever you wanna call it, it is awesome, 98 under waist, but its super snappy, super fun. I could not stop smiling, when I was riding it down. It definitely is a charger ski, so if your a guy that likes to ski fast, and likes a ski that can really grip, and rip this is a great one for you. Not for the faint of heart, so if your an intermediate, its probably a little bit to advanced. If your a really heavy guy, you might want something that's a little bit beefier. There's no titanium in this, but for us lighter guys, that really wanna charge at it, this ski just has me smiling all day long.

Q:
How well do you think these skis would handle in the park? I am not primarily in the park but might hit a few rails and jumps here and there?Asked on 2/23/2013 by Jacob1 answer
A:
This is in no way intended to be a park ski of any sort. That being said it is every powerful and playful all mountain ripper. So while it won't ski switch well and isn't ideal for hitting rails it will be a lot of fun boosting jumps and in the half pipe from time to time.Answered on 2/25/2013 by Thom - Product Specialist
Q:
what size brake on marker bindings do i need for a ski that is sized 90 under foot. found marker bindings in 90 or 110Asked on 11/10/2012 by doug from carbondale, co1 answer
A:
For all skis you generally want to size your Marker brakes between 5mm and 10mm wider than the ski. This allows the brakes to have enough room not to clip the sides of the skis while still being tight enough to the skis to not drag when carving. I would recommend looking for a Marker binding with 100mm brakes or switching out the brakes for a set of 100mm replacement brakes for the best fit.Answered on 11/13/2012 by Dru in CS from Royal Oak, MI
