As a beginning skater I have had the opportunity to test these pads out when I landed on my rear end a couple of times and these pads definitely did their job. They are very well built and comfortable, I couldn't have ask for more.

They are great pads and protect well. One thing to note is that the XL is a little smaller than I had anticipated. Still works though. One of the wrist guard's rivets fell apart from normal use (no falls) and that was disturbing. I fixed it w a pair of pliers, so no biggie.
