An ultralight version of the Betamid, the two-person Beta Light is built from 30d SilNylon to provide the same coverage of 3.2 square meters (34.7 square feet) at half the weight and space in your pack. It pitches taut and is fast and easy to set up and break down with seven stake outs and two adjustable length trekking poles or ski poles (not included). The floorless design lets you set up your stove inside and have dinner without worrying about spilling on the floor. For a three-season shelter, the Beta Light can be used with the Beta Bug.
