Using the solid Neox platform the AF 12 RS is a well priced recreational race binding. With a composite toe and heel the Neox AF 12 RS may not have the durability of a full metal binding but will certainly hold up for newer racers or simply lighter weight racers quite well. The 4-12 DIN range means it works best for racer between 100-160 pounds. With a 76mm brake the Neox AF 12 RS will work with most race and carving skis that either require an Atomic binding or have a universal plate. The 24mm overall stand height is a bit larger than most race bindings so if you are competing in FIS sanctioned races make sure your stand height will not exceed regulations. A great all around performance binding the Neox AF 12 RS is a great choice as a performance binding or those entering into the race world.
