Just recently got back into competitive skating (at 48 years old, WTH was I thinking???). I love the combination of speed and yet firm control these wheels give me. FAR more comfortable and secure than the Roller Bones I had on my skates originally. Bones are an excellent product as well, it's just a matter of personal preference. Added bonus - I LOVE the color (I purchased the Yellow/Green combo). Constantly getting comments from kids, "I love your skates", etc... A little bit of flashy can be fun...LOL
