Made from 100% high performance hydrocarbon paraffin, Swix CH7 wax falls in the middle of the CH temperature range making it a good all purpose wax. CH7 is commonly used as the first race wax or as a recreational wax. For racing, its properties make it a good base bonding wax for warmer or colder performance waxes applied later. Because of its versatile temperature range many racers apply thick coats of CH7 to their bases when storing or transporting their skis to protect them. CH7 provides good glide and base protection especially when mixed with CH3.
