As I become an "older skier" I wanted something which would do more of the work for me - and save my back and knees. These skis have been much easier on my body no matter what the skiing conditions.

Wasn't sure if II would like a mid fat ski but after my first run I was hooked.We just got 6 to 8 inches of fresh snow and with my old skis after a while when the snow starts to get pushed up in piles it was tough skiing.I started going through the piled up snow and couldn't believe how the Hot Rods went right through them.By the end of the day I was looking for more to go through.It wouldn't be possible on my old boards,I would have quit hours earlier!!! They held very well on Eastern hardpack(ICE)very very satisfied.
