The 45 degree bevels will reduce spray and fatigue and allow you to stay on the water for hours at a time. The Rocker pattern on the World Team gives you more rocker to give you smooth, forgiving turns which is very helpful for beginners. Comes with the X-9 bindings which are adjustable and make getting in and out of them a breeze. The EVA footbed makes them very comfortable as well.
