The Tecnica Cochise W 100 is a great boot for the aggressive intermediate to expert skier who has a medium to narrow forefoot and medium shaft of the leg. The Cochise is not necessarily a full blown sidecountry boot, but has the capability to be a great boot for the stronger skier that has the ability to walk with ease, either on the way up to score some powder, or just cruising through the village. Tecnicas IFS (Intelligent Freemountain System) gives you a mobility cuff that gives you a long range of motion, by pulling the metal to metal connection that is located on the back of the boot. The tab unlocks the upper cuff from the lower shell, and easily locks down again when it is time for you to make your way down the mountain. The Cochise 100 W uses the i-Rebound Flex Management System that has a metal to metal connection point from the upper cuff to the lower shell for flex resistance, power, rebound, and rear support. The lightweight construction uses Triax that is a new polymer that is 20% lighter than polyurethane, and it has a more consistent flex at a wide range of temperature.
