I use this helmet for whitewater kayaking. It is a multi-impact design, meaning it has soft, resilient padding designed to take a lot of medium-impact hits instead of one really big impact like a bike or ski helmet. The helmet is super light, which is important to me - the carbon fiber shell is thin, light and strong. The helmet has a ton of vents/drain holes, which is great for kayaking - especially when rolling. The weight also helps with rolling since your head is the last thing to come out of the water. Overall, a great product. I added a Salamander visor and that makes it a great package.
