This High Sierra bag is designed to fit 185cm skis. The main compartment and also where your skis will be stored is fully padded. It has a U-shaped opening in order to hole and protect two pairs of skis. To prevent your items from shifting inside the bag during travel, the Deluxe Wheeled Double Ski Bag has clearly marked interior hold-down straps and padded divider panel. To make transportation of the bag even easier, thank High Sierra for the bag's wheels. You may choose to carry the bag or pull the bag as it is supported by wheels. Rigid structure around the wheels and plastic-molded rub nails protect the bottom of the bag from abrasion. The wheels also have a unique integrated bridge that keeps the bag rolling true. I just ordered this bag and was extremely disappointed in the build quality, and lack of padding for wheeled luggage designed for airport handling.
if you are using the bag just to go from house to car and no airport this bag is for you.
I opted to exchange it for the nordica executive wheeled bag for 10 bucks more the bag is fully padded and offers 2 exterior pockets. This bag will come back in one piece after a trip.
