Atomic FFG 12 Ski Bindings 2012 |
The FFG 12 sits comfortable in between recreational and performance bindings. With a 4-12 DIN spring the FFG 12 is plenty strong enough for larger skiers but works down to 94 pounds meaning it works well for teens transitioning out of junior gear. While the FFG 12 works well as a freestyle and freeride binding for smaller and lighter skiers the composite toe and heel housing may not hold up to similar abuse when skiers start getting up around 175 pounds. To help out recreational skier the FFG has a 16.5mm lift for better energy transmission and a slight amount of forward lean to help you stay forward. Simple, clean and very reasonably priced the FFG 12 is a great binding for all but the most aggressive skiers.

Comments about Atomic FFG 12 Ski Bindings 2012:
There are no marks for the rear adjustment. Can only make assumptions based on range of motion and basic knowledge. These look like a quality product, but the lack of a ski shop within a reasonable drive makes self installation a must where I am. A template and detailed setup instructions would have been helpful.
