The Rossignol Axial 2 120 XL comes with a 100mm brake and is perfect for fat skis. The Dual Action toe piece is reinforced in the high stress areas, which improves the overall structural integrity of the binding. The toe piece has a multi-directional, 180 degree, release for maximum performance. The AFD uses a wide Teflon pad which increases friction to increase binding retention. The composite lateral arms of the Axial 2 heel piece are angled down applying greater pressure to the edge of the ski. The heel has 25mm of elastic travel; the longest travel of any binding on the market. This long travel prevents unwanted pre-releasing, ensuring that your ski will stay on when you want it to. The toe and heel of the Axial2 screw pattern is the widest pattern on the market. This wide pattern is a must for wider skis, increasing the torsional interface and creating a stronger coupling between ski and binding. This provides the skier with more leverage and control over the edges, especially on wide skis.
