Comments about Salomon Z 12 BBR Ski Bindings 2012:

I put these on the corrupt tjschillers from this site, and the color match is pretty cool.
In terms of build, these bindings are pretty nice, although I never liked the idea of using the center screw on the toe piece. I just feel like 4 screws instead of 3 are always better. So I prefer the Salomon S series bindings toe, with the adjustable wings and height. This is a happy medium between the S and the old low end. One thing about the S and probably these too(but I have yet to notice it) is that tipping the ski way over on the edge I sometimes hit the oversized wing, which is only a problem on hard ice. But the price and the level of binding are a nice mix. It works like expected, and i'm not into maxing out the bindings anymore.

my other pair of skis have the rossi axial, and i prefer that style binding over any other, I like the lateral heel hold and response on it. So this gets 4 stars, great binding but not my favorite.
