Comments about O'Brien Skyla Flex Competition Vest Womens Life Jacket:

Description says "not coastguard approved", but I didn't realize this meant the vest won't even keep a typical adult above the water. Warning on vest says it is for competitive use only, in the presence of chase boats, etc, since it does not provide enough floatation to keep an adult above the water. In other words, it is unsafe and unusable for recreational skiers.

Will return & exchange for a different vest. Partially my mistake, I guess - now I will pay more attention to the "coastguard approved" status.
