Ladies, Rossignol has been a forerunner in developing women's specific boots for the last decade and really created a winner in the Vita Sensor 2 80 for advanced to expert skiers. The Women's Sensor Shell has been 100% designed with F.I.T. (Feminine Intuitive Technology), which addresses women's unique fit issues that include narrower heels, smaller forefoot shapes, and lower cuffs to accommodate a lower, fuller calf. Rossignol offers a quilted goose down toe box on the liner, for added warmth. Oversized buckles that are easier for a smaller or gloved hand to close with ease when you need to make minor fit adjustments on the slopes. A tulip cuff is lower and has a backward flare to accommodate a women's calf shape. Notches in the plastic at the instep area make getting in and out of boots a cinch (a long standing problem with women's boots). The Vita sensor 80 is a great boot for a performance oriented intermediate, or an expert woman that wants a wider fit in the forefoot. The cuff fits medium to wide while the 80 flex gives plenty of support and rebound. The black shell remains simple and will match most ski outfits.
