The Quest line has expanded to women this season. The Quest 8 W is a great boot for women who want great downhill performance, with some hiking and sidecountry ability. The Quest 8 W is a great boot for instructors that spend a lot of time in their boots that are looking for all day comfort. The Hike and Ride Technology unlocks the upper cuff from the lower creating a bigger range of motion, and easier walking or hiking. The Biovent liner wicks moisture away from the foot keeping you warmer and dryer. The womens specific cuff is easily adjustable to accommodate all leg shapes from narrow to wide. The 45mm strap acts like a fourth buckle for added rebound and support. The 100mm last feels slightly wider than it measures, but if you do have a wider forefoot, and are looking for a sidecountry boot consider the Quest Access line. A great boot for the way down, and with the Ride and Hike Technology, the Salomon Quest 8 W is perfect for short hikes just outside of the resort boundaries and light tours. As always do not leave the safety of the ski resort without a shovel, probe, transceiver, partner, and the knowledge to use them.

These are quality boots that perform better than I ever expected. They are suited for a more narrow foot and provide incredible stability with comfort. By far the best ski boot you will find especially for the price.

Comments about Salomon Quest 8 W Womens Ski Boots 2012:
If u have a wider forefoot & skinny ankles, these r the boots for you! They fit perfectly! I' m a 5ft. intermediate skier & these fit my shins/ calves at the right height. A team member helped me with this choice, & she nailed it!
