Atomic Affinity Storm Womens Skis with XTO 10 Lady Bindings 2012 |
The Affinity Storm is the All-Mountain ski for ladies who prefer a ski that carves hard. At 84mm underfoot the Storm is far from the widest all-mountain ski out there so it does lose out a bit in the float category but has huge edge hold and carving ability on firmer snow pack. With Adaptive Rocker, the Affinity Storm has a bit of rise to the tip, making for effortless turn initiation and catch free feel when the snow pack breaks down or when you venture off- piste. Rounding out the turn, a full woodcore and step down sidewall construction give the Affinity Storm a very lively feel with great pop towards the finish of the turn and unfailing edge hold through the middle. Polished off with the Lightrak binding system to offer extra leverage and power to the edge the Affinity Storm is the whole package for aggressive skiers. If carving at speed is your favorite but the soft snow and open bowls call your name from time to time the Affinity Storm will keep up where ever you point 'em.

I have not actually skied on them yet given our conditions here, but I was shocked at how short they were when I opened the box. It was the first time I actually bought my own skis using your formula! I felt good with the info I put in, so hopefully they will be all that they are built up to be.
The shipping was flawless.

Hi, I'm Annie. I just rode the Atomic Affinity Storm. I give it a five out of five. It is a quick response ski. I took it down steep, as well as some easier runs. It is a nice carver for long turns. I could feel it initiate very easily and just the short snappy turns were just as nice. five out of five.

Hi, I'm Lynn. This is the Atomic Storm ski in a 167cm length. It has a 15.2 turn radius, this ski is an advanced to an expert level ski. It certainly is, I really enjoyed this ski. You have to be active on this ski. This ski needs to be told what you need it to do. You have to be very active, but it will do anything you want. It really likes the longer radius turns and it's very stable at higher speeds. I would give it a five out of five stars.

Hi, I'm Kathleen, with the Atomic Affinity Storm I skied it a 167, it was really very turney for a longer ski. It's supposed to have 16.2 turning radius but I could still make short turns very nicely on it. It is an all mountain ski. I felt that's exactly what it was, an all mountain ski. Sometimes you're compromising in some other areas, maybe not have quite the pop but I felt I could do any hill on it under any condition. In any kind of turns it was very nice and was fairly stable. Overall a very nice ski, I will give it 5 out of 5 as an All Mountain Ski.
