Product Description

The Cloud D2 73 is s ski that can push intermediate skiers past cruiser and into strong carving skiers. Developed with Atomic's D2 construction, the Cloud D2 73 uses two separate cores, one layered over the other allowing the 73 to be a very dynamic turning ski. In using this construction with a mellow and forgiving flex the Cloud D2 73 becomes a ski that almost turns for you. Preferring to be up on edge the Cloud D2 73 can arc long radius carves or keep things nice and tight following slalom style carves making it feel unbelievable stable and controllable giving any skier enormous confidence to not only skier move aggressively but ski better as well. Even though the Cloud D2 73 is more than capable of handling speed a large part of what makes it so great for intermediate skiers is that is will ski just as well at a moderate pace as well. Thanks to the Desolite composite core and Lightrak binding system the Cloud D2 73 stays quite forgiving and lightweight aiding in the skis performance at lower speeds, keeping it from feeling overwhelming. The Cloud D2 73 is a wonderful ski for any lady who wants to become a more technically sound skier or feels she has hit a plateau and wants to become a better skier.

Comments about Atomic Cloud D2 73 Womens Skis with XTO 10 Lady Bindings 2012:

tried this out in less than ideal condidtions, and it handled great. I agree with everything the other reviewers had to say. Only drawback: the double deck technology makes this ski quite heavy in terms of its weight. I am a fairly small female, and also found that the double deck technology made it difficult for me to get my hand around the waist of both skis to carry them.

Minor points, but thought I would mention them.

Comments about Atomic Cloud D2 73 Womens Skis with XTO 10 Lady Bindings 2012:

Hi this is April, and we just got done with the Atomic Cloud D2 73. The D2 refers to the double deck technology which is essentially two skis in one. On this one if you are going to ski a little tI'midly or maybe you're not on your 'A' game, it's going to make this ski softer. But when you went that ski up on edge and really create a high edge angle, it firms that ski up and gives you a lot more pop. I'm going to give this a five out of five. This is a great confidence building ski if you're having a hard tI'me finding the roar back in your turn. Give this one a shot of the word confidence and quiet stability is what this ski has to offer you. So if your that lady that sometI'mes you feel like you can conquer the hill and just take on everything, give this one a try. It is a lot of fun.

Hi, I'm Annie and I just went for a ride on the Atomic Cloud D2 73. It is an advanced intermediate ski. It has a really nice arc, it was responsive on the long sweeping turns as well as the short turns. It took me exactly where I needed to be, especially in the short turns it was a really tight nice line I give this a 4 out of 5 it's a good ski.

HI, this is Kathleen, with the Atomic D2 Cloud 73. It is a 12 five radius, it's a really snappy little short-turn ski. It's a great intermediate to upper level ski. If you're having trouble into those sharp turns this is the ski for it. Just really fun coming down the steeps, making beautiful turns. Still fairly stable, started having a little grippy, having just the right spot on the longer turns. But overall a lot of fun I give it a five out of five. Awesome ski.
