Dynastar Exclusive Active Womens Skis with Nova Exclusive AFC Fluid Bindings 2012 |
Retail: $700 (35% off)
The Exclusive Active tells you exactly who it is best for, active ladies who like to get out and ski. With a mellow flex pattern and a 74mm waist profile the Active is best suited to ladies who prefer moderate speeds and tend to stick towards marked and groomed trail conditions. Since the waist is a slim 74mm and the Active uses Autodrive which places strong gripping sidewalls through the middle of the ski, it transfers edge to edge quickly and easily for smooth and predictable turns. As we all know even the marked trails tend to get chewed up and bumpy towards the end of the day, so to help out the Active gets a bit of all-mountain rocker in both the tip and tail. Not only does the rocker help the Active plow through the bumps and crud more cleanly it makes for easier turn initiation even on hard packed and when you put the ski firmly on edge you still get tip to tail edge contact so no edge grip is lost. Throw in the fact the Active has a built in heel ramp and a forward set waist and mounting point thanks to the Exclusive Balance System and the Active is pretty much a perfectly balanced ski. Built to cruise with a dash an adventurous nature the Active will keep up with your lifestyle.

Hi, I'm Annie. I just skied the Dynastar Active in a 163. I give this a five out of five. Great ski and took it down an easy slope and a steep slope. It has great snap to it, I could feel the carve. A little stiff but I was able to do long sweeping carves beautiful turns as well as some short quick back and forth. It's was a wonderful ski. I would recommend this to an advanced skier.

Hi, I'm Lynn. I'm skiing the Dynastar Active this is a 163cm length. I enjoyed this ski it is designed for an advanced intermediate and advanced skier. It has a 13 meter turn radius and that's just the type of ski that a upper level skier would enjoy. It holds like crazy, it just has hold that you're going to love and enjoy the responsiveness. It had great response getting into the next turn. I skied medium radius turns, long radius turns, and I tried some short radius turns and it worked very well in all of those types of turn radius. I would give this a five star rating I really enjoyed the ride.

Comments about Dynastar Active Womens Skis with Nova Exclusive AFC Fluid Bindings 2012:
Hi, this is Kathleen with the Dynastar-Active. I skied it in a 163. It's an upper-level ski, it was a really nice carver. If you like high speed carving it held those turns beautifully. It's not very forgiving though, you've got to get it right edge. You can't hesitate with it or be afraid of them. It's not very good for those skiddy turns so if you're a little bit slower and sit back you're not going to like it. But if you like to get up there and move its pretty good. It was a little hard to work in the shorter turns, had to think a little bit more about getting it on edge then. Overall it was a great ski.
