The Pure is a reliable mix of frontside carving performance with a light and lively feel. Starting with Waveflex, the Pure has a stiff feel side to side for a great carving and edge feel with a medium flex tip to tail for a snappy and responsive nature. Bred for performance the Pure excels under the feet of athletic intermediate to solid advanced skiers that lean towards skiing on hard packed and groomed snow, but has enough width to handle light crud and bumps that pile up on groomers at the end of the day. The RST sidewall and Dualite Woodcore that run tip to tail in the Pure amp up the great edge feel while keeping it nice and light. A layer of lithium is also added to the Pure for vibration damping, helping to eliminate any chatter that might have otherwise built up at speed. Designed to be smooth, strong, and undemanding the pure offers up a clean easy feel on packed snow at any speeds.

Comments about Elan Pure Womens Skis with ELW 11.0 Fusion Bindings 2012:
Lynn here with the Elan Pure It's a 158 cm length. It's got almost a 14 meter turn radius, this is a little wider at 78 under the foot. So this would be an alright ski for skiing in the midwest. But this would be an absolutely fabulous ski if you skied it out west. It can go either place but you would really enjoy skiing it out west. If you are the advanced intermediate to advanced skier that's where this is targeting. I think you would enjoy this ski ,I give it a 4/5 stars.

Hi, this is April and this is the Elan Pure. I actually teach on the predecessor sister to this the Tear Spice. I really like this ski I'm going to give it 4/5 stars. It's got 78 underfoot so it's plenty wide enough. It's getting a little loose for chunky stuff, It's a full wood core ski. They use that waveflex technology on it, so it really dampens out and holds well on the crud and junk we get here in Michigan. Still using that fusion system, I like this to, it's built into the top sheet of the ski so you feel it throughout the length of the ski. Nice ski to ski on everyday ski.

Hi, I'm Julie. I just got off the Elan Pure. It's a nice high end ladies ski. I gave it a 4/5 star rating. It uses this Elan Waveflex technology in the tip and the tail to help make the core a little softer. So it's a little easier to come around, bring the skis around. It's got a nice sidewall construction through the entire body of the ski. This helps Improve stability and edge grip so if you're on the hardpacked it's a little bit wider under the foot. So you can take it into various snow conditions. It's definitely not meant for like deep powder but it's a good all-around advanced ladies ski.
