Product Description

The SuperSmooth from K2 is a great beginner ski that will help your skill, and confidence grow. The SuperSmooth would also make a great ski for a young adult who does not have much experience skiing, who has never skied an adult ski before. K2's Catch Free Rocker is rocker in the tip and tail. The rocker in the tip will help you initiate an turn easier, and defect some of the vibrations caused by crud or ruts that can accumulated on the busy, mellow groomers. Tail rocker releases the ski at the end of the turn, with out being grabby, giving you more control. A torsion box, composite core and polyurethane cap construction keep the ski light weight and very forgiving. The MOD technology absorbs vibrations, and impact loads along the entire edge of the ski, giving you stronger edge hold and more power, and control without affecting the flex of the ski. The ER3 binding plate has changed this season, by losing some weight, getting lower and wider providing a more efficient energy transfer, and more control over the ski. The Super Smooth is a great ski for the true beginner, or the young lady who does not have much experience skiing that does not want to rent.

Comments about K2 SuperSmooth Womens Skis with K2/Marker ERP 10.0 Bindings 2012:

Hi this is Kathleen with the K2 Super Smooth. This is their bottom of the line ski. It's a beginner to intermediate ski. I found it pretty well into that for a beginner ski. It's going to take you a long ways before outgrowing it. Skiing it under crud conditions it held up very nice. I could do shorter turns and longer turns, it did start getting a little soft on that kind of snow but overall it held up really well. It's very forgiving therefore it's a little unstable but overall I think it's a good ski for that level. I'm going to give it a five out of five for that beginner to intermediate skier.

Hi I'm Annie and I just rode the K2 new Super Smooth and it every bit owns up to It's name. A very smooth ski for a beginner into intermediate. I took it down some easy runs, I was able to do a nice snowplow turn. Just think about giving it a turn and it'll take you there. I picked up speed a little bit and it'll carve a little bit harder. Anybody starting out skiing is going to feel confident on this ski. It's an all Mountain Carver, it will advance with you into intermediate without a doubt. I give this a five out of five.
