K2 SuperSweet Womens Skis with Marker/K2 ER3 10.0 Bindings 2012 |
The K2 SuperSweet replaces the very popular Sweet Luv. The new and improved SuperSweet is a lightweight forgiving ski for the beginner who wants to improve quickly or the young lady who has been skiing for a few years, that is ready for her first adult system ski. K2's Catch Free Rocker is slight rocker in the tip and tail. Tip rocker helps you initiate a turn quicker by engaging the edge easier. It also helps absorb some of the negative energy that can a mass on the busy groomers. Rocker in the tail helps you release the ski out of a turn with out grabbing the snow. The Catch Free Rocker will get you to carving turns, instead of skidding them. The MOD technology absorbs vibrations and impact along the entire edge of the ski, and adds strength without affecting the flex of the ski. The MOD Monic chip is a focus mass dampening system that smooths out the ride of the SuperSweet the faster you push her. The K2/Marker ER3 plate is lighter, lower and wider this season providing faster, and easier energy transfer between the binding and the ski. The K2 Super Sweets torsion box, polyurethane cap construction is lightweight and forgiving so you can improve your skis and confidance with out the ski being too overbearing. A great ski for the beginner that wants to improve as rapidly as slides her way down the greens and blues.

My husband bought me these skis at the end of the season. I had my eye on them earlier in the year but found renting was better while I got more experience and got used to the appropriate size skis for the longterm. We got a great price for waiting and I'm so excited to finally own these. We went with the 146 for my petite frame and the fit is perfect. They are great looking skis, girly and fun. I've received compliments from people all around the mountain. I have only used them once so far and loved them. They are very easy to turn and from what I can tell with the rocker, give easy initiation and control. I highly recommend the 2012 series with K2. All the skis are much lighter vs the older versions. These skis should be enough for me for a while. I typically stick to blues and greens.
They are extremely lightweight, even with the bindings, which are super cute too.
If you love pink and want a ski to take you up a level in a season, these are them!

Hi I'm Julie. I just got off the K2 Super Sweet. I give it a 2/5 star rating. It's an intermediate level ski with full cap construction. Catch free rocker in the tip and tail to help make initiation easier too. You can avoid catching your edges, it's nice and lightweight. Real soft easy flex so it's great for a lighter weight person or somebody that's really not putting a lot of energy into the ski.

Hi this is Kathleen with the K2 Supersweet. This is a step up from the Super Smooth, also an entry-level ski but it's going to take you a little bit farther along than the smooth. It's nice and easy to initiate turns, it's going to be a really good ski for learning how to do those first carve turns. It holds an edge pretty well, again being a beginner ski. It's not liking at the high speeds especially as the crud is building up here today but overall it's pretty stable at the low speeds. It's going to feel pretty solid underfoot. Overall I think for the level of ski I'm giving it a 4.5 out of five.
