Rossignol Attraxion 8 Echo Womens Skis with Rossignol WTPI2 Saphire 110 Bindings 2012 |
Ladies do you like flying down groomers making beautiful short to medium radius turns? The Rossignol Attraxion 8 Echo is a perfect choice for you. Using Rossignol's Power Turn (traditional) camber the Echo 8 has plenty of responsiveness and rebound for the intermediate to expert skier that like to leave her husband and family behind her on the mountain. The Oversize sidecut give strong edge hold and increases stability, and easier turn transmission. A womens specific tip is built just for you to lighten up the ski and helps you roll the ski on edge easier. The female body has a lower center of gravity, so Rossignol uses a mounting position which is further forward and power ramp in the binding platform give you better balance and more control over your skis. The Echo line keep environmentally unfriendly materials to a minimum during production, and sustainable wood in all of its cores. The Rossignol Attraxion 8 is a favorite among Eastern, and Midwestern ski patrol and instructors alike. If you like to carve a fast turn and stay on the groomers it is a great ski for yourself.

I demo'ed these skis last week, after skiing on the Volkl Attiva Tierra 2009's for a few years.
The difference it made to my short to mid radius turns on groomers was huge. These skis are incredible on the last part of the turn, to bring you into the start of the next turn. So smooth, you get great rhythm and feel like a rockstar.
However, I then skied in crud and bumps, and struggled. Even in soft-ish snow it was hard to make those turns. Admittedly, conditions weren't perfect but after unbelievable skiing on the groomers, the skis seemed one dimensional. I am used to a softer ski and I found making turns in heavier snow challenging.

Hi I'm Annie and I just got off the Rosignol Attraxion 8 Echo. Another eco-friendly ski from Rossignol. It has turning power, camber and oversized cut. This was a nice ski, all mounting carver. I was able to take nice big long turns with a good turn radius of 12.8. It was very stable, the overall impression on the ski is a 5 out of 5. Great ski to ride if you're an expert, you're able to work it and get what you want out of this ski.

I'm Lynn. I just tested the Rossignol Echo 8 ski in a 154 cm length. This is an expert advanced to expert carving ski, all mountain carving ski. It's very responsive, I love this ski, it's stable at high speeds, it did short turns, it did long turns, it initiated easily, it did anything I asked it to! I think if you were that advanced to expert skier who likes under 12 13 m turn you would really like this ski. I'd give it five stars. I really did enjoy this ride.

Hi this is April and this is the Rossignol Echo 8 Attraxion. This is from their eco series, it's more user friendly for the environments. The fiber from the stripes you see in the top sheet of this ski are actually linen fiber strips and what they've done is they're trying to replace metal. Some of the other things we've used in the past to give the ski a lot of life and rebound. This ski still has plenty rebound. It's a fun ski to ski on, it's definitely for that stronger level ladies here. I would have no problem putting my gals that are maybe looking to take their level III test on this and they want a ski that makes them look like a rockstar. This definitely comes across the hill real quickly, making the short clean turns but how could it not, the side cut on this ski is a big fat whopping 127 in the shovel and then we go down to 75 underfoot and 108 in the tail and what that does for you as a skier is it really lets you rip across the hill quick! That shovel grabs in the turns and just pulls your feet into it so there is no effort at all. I also felt that this ski was beautiful aesthetically, if you look at the way those graphics work together it's like a Georgia O'Keefe painting. Nobody said we had to ski an ugly ski so I'm going to give this ski a five out of five stars. I love it! It was a lot of fun this one and I like the way they're going with being more eco friendly to the environment. If we want to keep skiing we need to keep the environment happy.

Hi this is Kathleen with the Rossignol Echo 8. It's the same construction of the six but is overall wider in the tip, tail and under the foot making it a little more work on these groomers that we have today but really nice in the mountains. It's going to be great for the crud and the powder. Overall though it's going to not be forgiving if you're on hard pack, you're going to have to work it get it on edge so if you're headed for the mountains it's going to be a really goods ski but if you're a Michigan skier you might want to stick to the 6. The 6 is going to be a little more forgiving for you and easier to work on the stuff that we're used to. It's a great ski overall, I'm going to still give it a five out of five and I skied it in 154. It's really especially nice on the short turns. It was beautiful in the short turns, real easy to lay it over. Did have to start working a little harder and think more as I got into the longer turns. Overall, like I said a five out of five.
