Salomon Origins Intense Black Womens Skis with Salomon Lightrak Z 10 Ti Bindings 2012 |
Retail: $750 (41% off)
The Salomon Origins Intense Black is a perfect ski for the intermediate to advance skier that will spend most of her time on the blue and mellow black groomed runs. The All Terrain Rocker is rocker in the tip of the ski with camber underfoot will help you engage the ski quicker on the groomers, and deflect some of the negative vibrations that are caused by crud and small moguls. A 74mm waist is quick, and lively edge to edge, and prefers short to medium radius turns. The Salomon Lightrak Z 10Ti binding system gives the Intense Black a nice even flex that makes energy transmission smooth and easy. The Double Monocoque Composite Core has one layer of Ti laminate that give you plenty of torsional strength, and power as you speed down the groomers. The Pulse Pad Dampening System is a layer of elastomers along the edge that makes ski to snow contact easier. The Salomon Origins Intense Black is a perfect ski for ladies that are not afraid to ski fast down any groomer. A great mix of value and performance at this price range.

Hey I'm Lynn, this is the Salomon Intense Black. This is new to their line of skis for women. This ski is for the advanced intermediate to advanced skier. You really have to be authoritative with the ski. You have to ski the ski in order for it to really work well for you. I give this ski 3/5 stars.

Hi I'm Julie. I just got off the Salomon Origins Intense Black. I give it a 4/5 stars. It's a nice advanced to intermediate ladies ski. I found it to be nice and smooth under the foot, nice lightweight. This one does have Cab Construction style to it which makes it easy to initiate the turn. I found it to get a little loose when we got into the choppy icky snow but when it was on nice snow conditions it really did perform really nicely.
