Fischer Koa 88 Womens Skis 2012 |
When you want a powerful ski that is at home in powder one run and then railing groomers the next the ski you want is the Koa 88. Based on a 88mm waist profile the Koa 88 is an ideal do all shape for advanced to expert female skier who want precision and versatility. Using a great blend between proven traditional and modern high tech constructions the Koa 88 has a unique powerful and playful feel that allows it to feel right on any terrain and any condition. On the traditional side of things the Koa 88 uses sandwich sidewall construction to create a strong torsional stiffness for unending edge hold with a very stable personality, making the Koa 88 a smooth carving ski as well as damp and predictable when you are skiing chop and off piste conditions. On the high tech side the Koa 88 employees Carbon I-Beams to amplify the torsional stiffness and add great rebound characteristics for an very light and lively feel which improves response and allows for snappy short turns in tight terrain or for short fall line turns. To borrow from the most modern in ski shaping the Koa 88 also gets Freeski Rocker, a tip and tail rocker profile with camber underfoot, to make for clean and easy turn initiation on hardpack and in soft snow with the flexibility to slide and smear turns in deep snow of an overall surf inspired feel. The Koa 88 is a classically inspired freeride ski with a modern twist to ensure all terrain domination.

I'm Lynn, I just skied the Fischer KOA 88. This ski is the binding is mounted flat on the ski, it's designed for the advanced to the expert skier. This is an all mountain ski, this ski would ski anywhere it would particularly love to be out west. But it skied very well and anything I asked it to do. At high speed turns it was very stable, long radius turns it liked. You can do the short radius turns if you wanted to, it did anything I asked it to. Of course with the rocker it worked out real well. I liked this ski, I'd give this ski a 4/4 stars.

Hi, this is Kathleen with the Fischer KOA 88. I skied it in a 160 today, this is a great upper level ski. I had a really good tI'me on it on the groomers today. Hardpacked it was beautiful gripped the edge nicer than I expected it too. I thought I was going to have being a little catchy but it wasn't. It was really solid underfoot, short turns or long turns it did just about anything for me. So I'm going to give this ski a 5 out of 5.

Hi, I'm Julie. I just got off the Fischer KOA 88. I give it a five out of five star rating. I absolutely love the ski. It's 88 mm right under the foot so it gives it a nice wide platform to really be a versatile ski. As far as snow conditions go you can take it on the groomers and really ripped turns. It's full sidewall construction and you can take it into that softer snow and you can really have a lot of fun there too. I would have liked to ski this in a little bit longer length but so far, I think this is really my favorite ski of the day.
