Comments about Gnu Park Pickle BTX Womens Snowboard 2012:

My name is Emily and I just got done demoing the Gnu Park Pickle and the ladies and I actually really enjoyed it. I'm not a big park rider, too old to be hitting those boxes and rails but overall It's got the Magnatraction on it so when you take the groomed trails it sticks right in there and hold a really nice edge and the edge transitions are fantastic. It does have that reverse camber on it and it is really forgiving. It's really nice when you hit those powder patches and you can just surf right over them and it stay up top. Overall I would give this a 5/5. I don't find anything wrong with it, it's just a matter of the conditions that you're normally riding in which it would probably suit the more advanced park riders all the way to the powder bowls out west.

Comments about Gnu Park Pickle BTX Womens Snowboard 2012:

Hi I'm Jenna. I just got off the girls version of the Gnu Park Pickle. I give this board 5/5 stars. Really fun board, it actually really surprised for a couple of reasons. It's a fairly softer board, It's a park board, a great freestyle board but because you've got the Magnetraction which is if you could see up close it actually has a wavy sidewall. What that does is it acts like a serrated knife, it basically gives you more contact points with the snow meaning that I could take a softer board like this and I could actually ride really fast and really hard on it and it would still hold It's edge super well, especially for being a rockered board. So this board is rockered as well, it makes it real fun, real playful but sometimes rockered boards get a little bit squirrley, especially at higher speeds, but not with this this. Magnetraction just really helped it hold Its edge real well at higher speeds. Another thing with the pickle that makes it a little bit different is it actually has whats called an asymmetrical side cut. The thought behind this is that when you transfer energy from your toe into your heel, you're not using the same amount of pressure. Your feet aren't symmetrical so the side cut of the board shouldn't be symmetrical so you actually have a wide cut on the heel edge and a little bit shallower side cut on the toes. Again because it takes more effort. more energy to transfer the energy to your heel edge so just a super fun board. Very smooth, again a great park board but you can take it anywhere on the mountain and it really held It's edge well, really performed real well.
