By attaching to the towers the Crossbars lend stability to your rack system and more importantly support sport-specific racks that carry your gear. Made from vinyl coated galvanized steel being able to support hundreds of pounds and withstand years weather abuse. END CAPS SHOWN ARE NOT INCLUDED. They are packaged and sold separately.
